Soccer Recap: Ascend Leadership Comes Up Short

Ascend Leadership lost against Woods Charter back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Aviators lost 9-0 to Wolves. Ascend Leadership just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Ascend Leadership's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Woods Charter, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Ascend Leadership will challenge Chatham Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Woods Charter, they will square off against Southern Wake Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Woods Charter will need to watch out since Southern Wake Academy have now posted at least four goals in their last three games.
