Baseball Game Preview: Heritage Christian Academy Warriors vs. Christian County Colonels

The Heritage Christian Academy Warriors will head out to take on the Christian County Colonels at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Heritage Christian Academy came up short against Todd County Central and fell 8-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Collin Outland spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered five earned (and three unearned) runs on four hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Heritage Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cadyn Travis, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Christian County had taken Daviess County down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Colonels took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Heritage Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Christian County, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Heritage Christian Academy suffered a grim 20-0 defeat to Christian County when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
