Locust Fork extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Hanceville. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bulldogs an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Hornets have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Locust Fork, bringing their record up to 17-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hanceville, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-17-1.

Locust Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hanceville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-4 victory against Vinemont on the 29th.
