Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lyons). They blew past the Sedgwick Cardinals 73-32 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Deacon Showalter continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8 of 10 en route to 18 points and eight assists. Another player making a difference was Xavier Solis, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Lyons now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Sedgwick, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyons will host Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sedgwick, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Sedgwick Cardinals duke it out with the Moundridge Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Moundridge will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Sedgwick surely won't give up without a fight.
