Football Game Preview: St. Mark's Lions vs. Episcopal School of Dallas Eagles

St. Mark is 1-9 against Episcopal School of Dallas since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Lions will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, St. Mark's ended up a good deal behind Episcopal and lost 32-16.

Meanwhile, Episcopal School of Dallas suffered their closest defeat since September 21, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of St. John's by a score of 20-17. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Mavericks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

St. Mark's now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

St. Mark's won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, slipping by Episcopal School of Dallas 28-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
