Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ogdensburg Free Academy). They walked away with a 60-48 victory over the Gouverneur Wildcats on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-37 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Gouverneur still got an impressive performance from Raine Rumble, who posted 23 points. That was a full 47.9% of Gouverneur's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. Kaleb Platt was another key player, putting up ten points.

Ogdensburg Free Academy's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Gouverneur, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Ogdensburg Free Academy is taking a road trip to take on Plattsburgh at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gouverneur, they will welcome Beekmantown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
