Soccer Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short

After flying high against Madison last Saturday, Lakeview came back down to earth. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Seward Bluejays on Thursday. Lakeview were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Seward apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Lakeview now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Seward, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lakeview will square off against rival Plattsmouth at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Seward is set to take on their familiar foe Aurora on Tuesday.
