Football Recap: Lynnwood Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Hannibal Bendawi and Jaceer Brooks + How To Watch

Lynnwood lost against Shorecrest back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Royals lost to the Scots on the road by a 28-13 margin.

Jaceer Brooks and Hannibal Bendawi certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Brooks rushed for 84 yards and one TD on only seven carries, while Bendawi rushed for 79 yards and one score on only 11 carries. Brooks didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles and defended one pass.

Lynnwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Shorecrest, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lynnwood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 56-0 defeat against Shorewood on the 25th. As for Shorecrest, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 29-0 loss against Mountlake Terrace on the 26th.
