Union Christian Academy had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Gospel Light Christian Lions on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Union Christian Academy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-18.

Union Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Gospel Light Christian, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Union Christian Academy and Gospel Light Christian will both be playing Wright Christian the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
