Softball Recap: Coronado Takes a Loss

Coronado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-2 to the Yuma Criminals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Criminals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Monday.

Coronado's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Yuma, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coronado will welcome Cactus Shadows at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Dons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Yuma, they will square off against Dysart at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
