Baseball Recap: Baylor Victorious

Baylor's tournament run continued when they took on Signal Mountain on Friday. The Baylor Red Raiders narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Signal Mountain Eagles 11-10.

Blake Lundy was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Emerson Morris was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Baylor hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in three consecutive games.

Baylor now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Signal Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
