Soccer Game Preview: Sachse vs. Forney

The Sachse Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Forney Jackrabbits at 5:20 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Sachse's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lovejoy, sneaking past 1-0.

Meanwhile, Forney had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They won by a goal and slipped past McKinney 1-0. The Jackrabbits wouldn't have won without Kalani Brundage, who scored the game-winner.

Sachse's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for Forney, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
