Volleyball Recap: Dunn Comes Up Short

Dunn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Bishop Diego Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-5, 25-12.

Dunn's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bishop Diego, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Dunn will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Providence at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Bishop Diego, they will head out to face off against Malibu at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Sharks will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
