The third road game was the charm for Copper Canyon, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They blew past the Alhambra Lions, posting a 49-13 win. Considering the Aztecs have won three matchups by more than 35 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Javian Wright was a one-man wrecking crew as he picked up 96 receiving yards and two scores. Those two receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high.
