Basketball Recap: Bedford County CIA's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Bedford County CIA's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 62-50 victory over Mt. Carmel Christian. The Agents' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bedford County CIA got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Silas Gorczyca out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 19 boards. Gorczyca is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Carter Stuchell was another key player, going 8 for 14 on his way to 19 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Bedford County CIA's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3. As for Mt. Carmel Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Bedford County CIA will venture away from home to take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Carmel Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ligonier Valley at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
