Basketball Recap: Noxubee County Takes a Loss

Noxubee County lost against West Point back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Noxubee County Tigers came up short against the West Point Green Wave, falling 40-17.

Noxubee County's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for West Point, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Noxubee County will head out to take on McLaurin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Noxubee County is facing McLaurin at the right time seeing as McLaurin is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for West Point, they will venture away from home to challenge Lafayette at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lafayette has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
