It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Holy Family Catholic ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the West Lutheran Warriors 5-4. The Fire's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Kyla Kockler spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
