Forest Area has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will head out to challenge the Frankfort Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Forest Area finally turned things around against North Michigan Christian Academy last Thursday. They came out on top against the Comets by a score of 3-1.
Meanwhile, Frankfort came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Lancers 3-0.
While Frankfort might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Ellsworth scored at least 16 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-15, 25-16.
Forest Area's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Frankfort, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6.
