The Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool Chargers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 47 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They breezed by Incarnate Word Academy on the road to the tune of 68-20. The result was nothing new for Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool, who have now won six matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

Elijah Sprinkle continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 252 yards and six touchdowns, while also rushing for 138 yards on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was Payton Burke, who rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries.

Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-7 High Island and 4-5 NYOS Charter (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 39.8% over those games). As for Incarnate Word Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool will head out on the road to face off against Austin Royals HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Augustine at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Augustine is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
