South Knox is a perfect 7-0 against Eastern Greene since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Spartans will host the Thunderbirds at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in South Knox's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Eastern Greene has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

South Knox fell victim to Northeast Dubois and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Jeeps, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Spartans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Eastern Greene couldn't beat Owen Valley on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Thunderbirds lost 23-6 to the Patriots.

South Knox's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 13-7. As for Eastern Greene, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Everything went South Knox's way against Eastern Greene in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as South Knox made off with a 7-1 win. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Thunderbirds turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
