Volleyball Recap: Cedar Park Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Cedar Park waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Morton Ranch Mavericks by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Timberwolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cedar Park to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katelyn Hughes, who had four aces and three digs. Hughes is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Anna Kurz, who had eight digs and three assists.

Cedar Park's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Morton Ranch, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
