Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hull-Daisetta). They took down the Acadiana Christian Defenders 44-30 on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bobcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 1199th in Texas, while the Defenders are ranked 288th in Louisiana).

The win made it two in a row for Hull-Daisetta and bumps their season record up to 2-4. As for Acadiana Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Hull-Daisetta will be playing at home against Deweyville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Acadiana Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northside Lions Sports Association at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
