Softball Recap: Bishop Ready Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Bishop Ready unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 13-3 to the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Bishop Ready saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoey Cunningham, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Ready will face off against Dublin Scioto at 12:00 p.m. on March 22nd. As for Cardington-Lincoln, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Colonel Crawford at 12:00 p.m. on March 22nd.
