The biggest upset of the week belonged to York, who took down fourth ranked York, 20-17. Daniel Jackson ran for 99 yards and caught two passes for one yards in the win.

South Pointe extended the longest winning streak in AAAA Region III this week by beating Rock Hill, 32-0. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.

Nation Ford's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dalton Helms has thrown for 1647 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, while AK McCoy has 40 catches for 843 yards. Jackson leads the league in rushing with 481 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Cougars and Northwestern. York enters the game ranked seventh in the state, while the Trojans ranks fourth.

Nation Ford and Bobby Carroll's team played the most hotly contested game in AAAA Region III this week, with Nation Ford eventually emerging with a 20-17 victory. Jackson in the win.
