The Bisbee Pumas lost against the Pima Roughriders back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Bisbee took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roughriders.

Bisbee's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jose Mendez, who scored 23 points along with two steals. Sebastian Lopez was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Bisbee's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Pima, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bisbee will take on the Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Willcox focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday. As for Pima, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Hopefully Thatcher focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
