Crivitz and Wausaukee are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Wolverines will venture away from home to face off against the Rangers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Crivitz will face Wausaukee after dropping another heartbreaker against Coleman on Friday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. The Wolverines fell 10-6 to the Cougars.

Hattie Frievalt was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Izzy Wesolowski, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Wausaukee, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Niagara 7-5. The game was the first time the Rangers have beaten the Badgers on their field since April 18, 2019.

Wausaukee's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Crivitz, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6.

Everything went Crivitz's way against Wausaukee in their previous meeting back in April, as Crivitz made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
