Kohen Kemmer turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Monday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Clarion-Limestone is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-7 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Kemmer and Clarion-Limestone will challenge Cranberry Area at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Berries thanks in part to Kemmer: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
