Volleyball Recap: Herbert Hoover Huskies vs. Winfield Generals
Herbert Hoover faced Winfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Huskies took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Generals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
Herbert Hoover might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Winfield: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 28-26.
