Volleyball Recap: Silver Creek Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Silver Creek can now relate to. They came up short against the Montrose Red Hawks on Saturday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Raptors have suffered since October 21st.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-7, 25-17.

Avery White paced Silver Creek's offense, picking up ten kills. White got some help from Susan Campie and her 13 assists.

Silver Creek's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Montrose, they pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Silver Creek and Montrose will both be playing Palmer the next time they take the court. The Raptors will head out to face the Terrors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Red Hawks will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
