Baseball Recap: Grandview Takes a Loss

Grandview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hermiston Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 on Tuesday.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hermiston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grandview and Pasco will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hermiston, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Ferris at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
