Basketball Recap: Pace Comes Up Short

The Pace Patriots ended up a good deal behind the Gulf Shores Dolphins on Thursday and lost 57-38. The Patriots were down 50-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Pace's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Gulf Shores, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Pace won't have much time to rest: their next game is against L.E.A.D. Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gulf Shores, they will square off against Daphne at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Dolphins will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 69 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
