Whitehall is 8-1 against East Stroudsburg North since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Whitehall Zephyrs will head out on the road to challenge the East Stroudsburg North Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Whitehall is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Allentown Central Catholic just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 66-43 to the Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Zephyrs have suffered since January 22, 2024.

Meanwhile, East Stroudsburg North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-51 heartbreaker at the hands of East Stroudsburg South.

Whitehall will need focus on slowing down Ozias Washington, one of several East Stroudsburg North players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wayne King, who put up 14 points.

East Stroudsburg North's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Whitehall, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Whitehall didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against East Stroudsburg North in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 65-59 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was East Stroudsburg North's Bryceson Dobie, who had 26 points. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for Whitehall to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
