The Mount Michael Benedictine Knights will square off against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Mount Michael Benedictine, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, Mount Michael Benedictine humbled Concordia with a 42-7 victory. Considering the Knights have won three contests by more than 34 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mount Michael Benedictine got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jedd Ramold out in front who rushed for 131 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. Ramold's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 106 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie L'Heureux, who rushed for 72 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries.
Mount Michael Benedictine's run defense was locked in: Concordia could only muster 3.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Xavier Zimmerman for the heroic effort on defense: he. Mount Michael Benedictine didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.1.
Meanwhile, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Douglas County West 34-7. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Despite the loss, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jett Vacha rushed for 97 yards and one TD on only 11 carries. Vacha got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 50 yards.
Mount Michael Benedictine pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.8 points on average over those games. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Mount Michael Benedictine has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 243.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Logan View/Scribner-Snyder struggles in that department as they've been averaging 205.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
