Soccer Recap: Leadership Public Schools Richmond's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Leadership Public Schools Richmond came into Monday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Castlemont Knights 5-2 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pumas also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.

They hit Castlemont with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jonathan Navarette Ayala (2), Bryan Velazquez, Jesus Munoz Gomez, and Isaak Melendez.

Leadership Public Schools Richmond's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Castlemont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leadership Public Schools Richmond will face off against Leadership at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Castlemont, they will be playing at home against Fremont at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
