After flying high against South Umpqua on Monday, Marshfield came back down to earth. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Junction City Tigers on Wednesday. Marshfield have struggled against Junction City recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Marshfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Junction City, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 2-8-1.

Coincidentally, Marshfield and Junction City will both be playing North Bend the next time they take the pitch. The Pirates will head out to face the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
