Basketball Game Preview: Gresham Community Wildcats vs. Menominee Indian Eagles

The Gresham Community Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Menominee Indian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gresham Community is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Gresham Community came up short against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah and fell 51-42.

Meanwhile, Menominee Indian came into Saturday's contest having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Wabeno/Laona with a 54-48 win on Saturday.

Gresham Community's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Menominee Indian, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-7.

Gresham Community came up short against Menominee Indian when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 61-50. Can Gresham Community avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
