Cole Pippenger made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off ten hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last ten matchups.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Landan Abellana, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Matt Moore was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
