Baseball Game Preview: St. Charles North North Stars vs. Wheaton North Falcons

For the second straight game, St. Charles North will face off against Wheaton North. The North Stars will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Falcons at 4:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, St. Charles North didn't have quite enough to beat Wheaton North and fell 5-4.

Chase Ferguson and Ty Heimbuch stepped up to the plate in a big way. Ferguson went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double, while Heimbuch scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Nolan Macholz was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

Wheaton North's victory bumped their record up to 5-8-1. As for St. Charles North, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-5.
