Softball Recap: Rossview Comes Up Short

Rossview made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Clarksville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Hawks fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hawks have suffered since March 19th.

Rossview has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Clarksville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-13 record this season.

Rossview will be playing in front of their home fans against Dickson County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clarksville, they are taking a road trip to take on Stewart County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rebels' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
