AA District 11 recap October 1, 2013
Camden Central moved up to 112 from 146 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AA District 11. The Lions were able to move up by topping Huntingdon 31-14.
Fairview added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating East Hickman County, 34-10. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Yellowjackets.
Lucas Graham provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Lewis County topped Hickman County.
Zach Roberts put up the best numbers through the air as the Bulldogs lost to the Panthers. He had a total of 11 completions for 140 yards. Roberts' favorite target this week was Chase Johnston, who caught 2 passes for 66 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Hickman County's Roberts and Logan Hill have proven to be a lethal combination. Roberts has thrown for 539 yards this season, while Hill has 10 catches for 300 yards. Graham from Lewis County leads the league in rushing with 654 yards.
The top two teams in AA District 11 will face off this week when first place Lewis County takes on second place Fairview.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Bobby Sharp's team takes on Fairview. The Panthers' offense has scored 189 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Chris Hughes' team has allowed only 57 on the year.
Lewis County led the league in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on the Bulldogs. Graham ran for 170 yards in the win.
