Football Game Preview: Port Allegany Gators vs. Brockway Rovers

The Port Allegany Gators will venture away from home to challenge the Brockway Rovers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Port Allegany will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Port Allegany gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They blew past Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley 35-7. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Brockway beat Ridgway/Johnsonburg 31-24 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Rovers in their matchups with Ridgway/Johnsonburg: they've now won four in a row.

Brockway's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Port Allegany, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

Port Allegany took their win against Brockway when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 47-21 score. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Rovers' Blake Pisarcik, who picked up 113 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 30 yards.
