Baseball Recap: Pace Comes Up Short

If Pace was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Donna North last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell 6-2 to the Chiefs on Friday. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chiefs earlier this season, when they won 10-0.

Pace saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Solis, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Abraham Gutierrez also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Pace's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Donna North, they moved to 6-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Pace will face off against Rivera at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Donna North, they will square off against Weslaco East at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
