Chillicothe has gone 8-2 against Savannah recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Hornets will take on the Savages at 4:00 p.m. Chillicothe's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Chillicothe needed a bit of extra time to put away Cameron. They won by a goal and slipped past the Dragons 4-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Savannah was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They fell just short of Benton by a score of 2-1.

The win got Chillicothe back to even at 3-3. As for Savannah, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 5-5.

Chillicothe was able to grind out a solid victory over Savannah when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
