Wendover scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 72-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the White Pine Bobcats. The defeat leaves the Wildcats still looking for their first win of the season.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keanu DuBoise, who posted 18 points and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Marcus Gomez, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Wendover's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for White Pine, their victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
