Glendora extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Kaleia Zeits. The Tartans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bonita Bearcats on Wednesday for which the team can thank Zeits, who had 40 digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 27 games she's played dating back to last season.
Glendora walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-11, 25-18.
Bonita's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Cassidy Howard, who had 19 assists and 12 digs, and Shyanne McCutcheon, who had 16 digs and one assist.
Glendora's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Bonita, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.
