Volleyball Recap: Howell North Extends Winning Streak to Four

Howell North waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Troy-Buchanan Trojans as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Howell North took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-11.

Noah Rowland paced Howell North's offense, picking up 11 kills. Rowland got some help from Luke Hollinger and his 21 assists. Josh Windsor controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Howell North's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Troy-Buchanan, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Howell North will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Lutheran at 9:00 a.m. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Troy-Buchanan, they will take on Howell Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
