Richfield hasn't had much luck against Manti recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Richfield Wildcats will face off against the Manti Templars at 5:30 p.m. Richfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

Manti will be up against a hot Richfield squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Richfield put the hurt on Gunnison Valley with a sharp 5-2 victory on Tuesday. Five seems to be a good number for the Wildcats as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

They hit Gunnison Valley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tanner Olson (2), Aiden Olsen, Jaxson Berrett, and Knox Shaw.

Meanwhile, Manti kept a clean sheet against Canyon View on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Falcons. The win continues a trend for the Templars in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won five in a row.

Richfield's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. As for Manti, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Richfield came up short against Manti when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Richfield avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
