Football Recap: Bath Extends Winning Streak to Four

Bath came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Celina Bulldogs 49-35. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 226th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bath can attribute much of their success to Josiah Clark, who picked up 113 receiving yards and one TD.

Bath was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 276 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Bath's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Celina, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Bath will face off against Defiance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Celina, they will challenge Ottawa-Glandorf at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Titans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
