Football Recap: Millbrook Piles Up the Points Against Wake Forest + How To Watch

Millbrook strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 48-7 victory over the Wake Forest Cougars. With the Wildcats ahead 27-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Millbrook got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryson Gray out in front who threw for 258 yards and three TDs. Those three passing touchdowns gave Gray a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was Brilison McCullers, who rushed for 70 yards and a pair of scores.

Millbrook didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Carsen Adams and Quinton Cypher. Cypher has been hot for a while, having also posted seven or more total tackles the last 16 times he's played.

Millbrook's record now sits at 3-0. As for Wake Forest, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Millbrook will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Athens Drive at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Wake Forest, they have already played their next contest, a 42-7 win against Wakefield on the 12th.
