Baseball Recap: Merritt Comes Up Short

The Merritt Oilers came up short against the Walters Blue Devils on Thursday and fell 4-1.

Merritt's loss dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Walters, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Merritt nor Walters have any future games scheduled.
